CASTLE DALE, Utah-The Emery Spartans stymied Richfield 3-0 Tuesday in Region 12 volleyball play. The Spartans gashed the Wildcats 25-14, 25-16, 25-23 for the straight sets victory.
Region 14
MANTI, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks gashed Manti 3-1 in Region 14 volleyball action Tuesday.
Region 16
SALINA, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs stonewalled North Sevier 3-0 Tuesday in Region 16 volleyball play. The Bulldogs downed the Wolves 25-14, 26-24, 25-18.
FILLMORE, Utah-The North Summit Braves stymied Millard 3-2 in Region 16 volleyball play Tuesday. The Braves prevailed over the Eagles 27-29, 27-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-9.
Region 19
BLANDING, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys lassoed the San Juan Broncos 3-0 in Region 19 volleyball action Tuesday. Kanab prevailed 25-21, 25-23, 25-11.
BEAVER, Utah-The South Sevier Rams smacked Beaver 3-1 Tuesday in Region 19 volleyball play. The Rams downed the Beavers 25-18, 28-26, 19-25, 25-22.
Region 20
BICKNELL, Utah-The Wayne Badgers tripped up Bryce Valley 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball play Tuesday. The Badgers humbled the Mustangs 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.
Non-Region
MILFORD, Utah-The Milford Tigers gashed Green River 3-1 Tuesday in non-region volleyball play. The Tigers bested the Pirates 25-20, 22-25, 25-18, 25-14. Brynley Wunderlich posted 12 kills in victory for Milford.
Girls Soccer
Region 12
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Kate Robinson, Mylee Jensen and Abigail Evensen each scored and the Richfield Wildcats blanked Emery 3-0 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Khyber Lee earned the shutout for Richfield in victory.
Region 14
MANTI, Utah-The Juab Wasps blanked Manti 1-0 in Region 14 girls soccer play Tuesday.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Delta Rabbits prevailed over North Sanpete 4-2 in a shootout after ending timed play in a 1-1 tie.
2-A South
GUNNISON, Utah-Camdyn Gamble and Kara Camp each scored twice and the Millard Eagles pounded Gunnison Valley 8-0 Tuesday in 2-A South girls soccer action. Kailey Thurman, Itzel Munoz, Kadi Dearden and Paige Cummings also scored for the Eagles in victory. Lucy Freeman posted the shutout for Millard.
