ROOSEVELT, Utah-The Union Cougars stymied Manti 3-0 in Region 14 volleyball play Tuesday. The Cougars downed the Templars 25-15, 25-14, 25-14.
NEPHI, Utah-The Juab Wasps humbled North Sanpete 3-0 Tuesday in Region 14 volleyball play. The Wasps prevailed 25-22, 25-22, 27-25 to escape against the Hawks. Makayla Allred had 10 kills in the win for the Wasps.
DELTA, Utah-The Delta Rabbits gashed Providence Hall 3-0 in Region 14 volleyball play at the Palladium Tuesday. The Rabbits downed the Patriots 25-11, 25-13, 25-9 to obtain the straight sets victory.
Region 16
COALVILLE, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs surged past North Summit 3-1 in Region 16 volleyball play Tuesday. The Bulldogs gashed the Braves 25-17, 25-21, 27-25, 25-16. Marci Richins had 25 kills in the loss for the Braves.
Region 19
MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Rams tripped up Enterprise 3-2 Tuesday in Region 19 play. The Rams bested the Wolves 18-25, 25-15, 22-25, 25-13, 15-10 to secure the win.
KANAB, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys downed Beaver 3-0 Tuesday in Region 19 volleyball play.
Non-Region
FILLMORE, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats surged past Millard 3-0 Tuesday in non-region volleyball action. The Bobcats prevailed 25-21, 27-25, 25-16 to ground the Eagles. Tabetha Henrie’s 11 kills led the Bobcats in the victory.
Girls Soccer
Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-Molly Banks, Amiah Timothy, Thalyn Lyman and Kacie Brady each scored and the Carbon Dinos outlasted Richfield 4-3 in Region 12 girls soccer play Tuesday. Kate Robinson scored twice and Tale Pousen also found the net in defeat for the Wildcats.
Region 14
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Maklynee Smith found the net and the Union Cougars blanked North Sanpete 1-0 in Region 14 girls soccer play Tuesday. Mia Rasmussen earned the shutout for the Cougars.
DELTA, Utah-Breanne Wayman and Janessa Bridges each scored and the Manti Templars doubled up Delta 2-1 Tuesday in Region 14 girls soccer action. Henci Stephenson’s goal led the Rabbits in the loss.
Region 19
MONROE, Utah-Emmalie Peterson scored and the South Sevier Rams doubled up San Juan 2-1 in Region 19 girls soccer play Tuesdsay.
GUNNISON, Utah-The Parowan Rams scored six goals in the first half to run away from Gunnison Valley 8-0 in girls soccer action Tuesday.
