Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Emery Spartans gashed Richfield 3-0 Thursday in Region 12 volleyball play. The Spartans prevailed over the Wildcats 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 for the straight sets win.
Region 20
TROPIC, Utah-The Escalante Moquis swept Bryce Valley 3-0 Thursday in Region 20 volleyball action. The Moquis prevailed 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.
Non-Region
OGDEN, Utah-The Ogden Tigers outlasted Manti 3-2 in non-region volleyball action Thurday. The Tigers prevailed over the Templars 25-17, 25-22, 22-25, 23-25, 15-12. Adrienne Shelley had 14 kills in the loss.
MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Rams overpowered Piute 3-0 Thursday in non-region volleyball play. The Rams bested the T-Birds, 25-21, 25-22, 25-22 for the straight sets victory.
MILFORD, Utah-North Sevier stormed past Milford 3-1 in non-region volleyball action Thursday. The Wolves downed the Tigers 25-19, 25-15, 18-25, 25-23. Jaleana Tsosie had 17 kills for the Tigers in the loss.
GUNNISON, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs smoked Parowan 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Thursday. The Bulldogs bested the Rams 25-19, 25-16, 25-17 to prevail in straight sets.
DELTA, Utah-The Delta Rabbits surged past Duchesne 3-1 Thursday in non-region volleyball action at the Palladium. The Rabbits waxed the Eagles 25-20, 22-25, 25-17, 25-20.
FILLMORE, Utah-The Millard Eagles stymied Rowland Hall 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Thursday. The Eagles downed the Winged Lions 25-13, 27-25, 25-18 to earn the straight sets victory.
PAGE, Arizona-The Kanab Lady Cowboys went on the road and beat Page, Arizona 3-0 Thursday in non-region volleyball action. Kanab won 25-22, 25-22, 25-12.
PANGUITCH, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats swept Enterprise 3-0 Thursday in non-region volleyball action. The Bobcats prevailed 25-21, 25-21, 25-13.
GRANTSVILLE, Utah-The Juab Wasps went on the road and beat Grantsville 3-1 Thursday in non-region volleyball action. The Wasps won 20-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-23.
Girls Soccer
Region 12
PRICE, Utah-The Carbon Dinos outlasted Richfield 5-4 in a shootout Thursday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Kinley Cowell scored in regulation for the Dinos. Abigail Evensen scored in the loss for the Wildcats in regulation.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Natalie Morrell and Jordan Cowan each scored as the Juab Wasps blanked Delta 2-0 Thursday in Region 14 girls soccer play. Savanah Rasch posted the shutout for the Wasps.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-Brooklyn Olson and Janessa Bridges each posted a pair of goals and the Manti Templars outlasted Union 5-4 in Region 14 girls soccer action Thursday. Alivya Osborn also scored for the Templars in the victory.
2-A South
PAROWAN, Utah-Karlee Wood and Taylor Johnson each posted hat tricks and the Parowan Rams clobbered Gunnison Valley 11-0 Thursday in 2-A South girls soccer play. Brooklyn Hulet recorded the shutout for the Rams.
BEAVER, Utah-Kara Camp posted 5 goals and the Millard Eagles pounded Beaver 10-2 in 2-A South girls soccer play Thursday. Kailey Thurman, Devin Roper, Kadi Dearden, Riley Davenport and Paige Cummings also scored for the Eagles. Heidi Harris and Abby Cox scored in the loss for the Beavers.
Girls Tennis
MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier girls tennis team won a Region 12 match over Emery 4-1. The Rams won in 1st singles with Kaizlee Bringhurst, Nevaeh Kelley in 2nd singles, Emmalie Peterson in 3rd singles and in 2nd doubles with Jadee Lund and Aliya Torgerson.
