TROPIC, Utah-Ryker Peterson posted three RBI and the Wayne Badgers doubled up Bryce Valley 8-4 in 1-A South baseball play Wednesday. Jake Batty added seven strikeouts in the win for the Badgers. Rafe Brinkerhoff drove in three runs in the loss for the Mustangs.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Hunter Barrick led the way with four RBI and the Valley Buffaloes clobbered Green River 13-2 Wednesday in 1-A South baseball action. Cooper Chamberlain posted eight strikeouts in the win for the Buffaloes.
JUNCTION, Utah-Kole Westwood and McKray Gayler each drove in a pair of runs and the Piute Thunderbirds waxed Panguitch 7-2 in 1-A South baseball play Wednesday.
Brooks Dalton netted seven strikeouts in the win for Piute.
Klyn Fullmer drove in both runs for the Bobcats in defeat.

Region 18
AMERICAN FORK, Utah-The American Heritage Patriots downed Wasatch Academy 3-0 in Region 18 volleyball play Wednesday. The Patriots bested the Tigers 25-9, 25-12, 25-13.
Region 20
ESCALANTE, Utah-The Escalante Moquis stymied Diamond Ranch 3-0 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball action. The Moquis pounded the Diamondbacks 25-8, 25-7, 25-11.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Tabetha Henrie led the way with 10 kills and the Panguitch Bobcats blanked Milford 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball play Wednesday. The Bobcats prevailed over the Tigers 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.
JUNCTION, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds stonewalled Wayne 3-0 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball play. The T-Birds gashed the Badgers 25-20, 25-22, 25-17.
HILDALE, Utah-The Bryce Valley Mustangs outlasted the Water Canyon Wildcats 3-2 in Region 20 volleyball play Wednesday. The Mustangs downed the Wildcats 25-21, 15-25, 25-12, 13-25, 15-13.
