BICKNELL, Utah-Daxton Miller earned the win on the mound and the Panguitch Bobcats downed Wayne 9-4 in 1A South baseball action Wednesday. Krey Bradbury drove in three runs in the loss for the Badgers.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-The Valley Buffalos clobbered Pinnacle 13-2 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play.

JUNCTION, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds dismantled Green River 7-1 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Cristian Venzor had an RBI in the loss for the Pirates.

Region 18

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah-The Beaver Beavers won the first Region 18 boys golf tournament of the season playing at Glendale Golf Course in Salt Lake City on Wednesday. The Beavers shot a 310 as a team, 18 strokes ahead of second place South Sevier. Millard came in third with a 333, followed by Parowan, Kanab and Enterprise.
