MONROE, Utah-Taylor Crane completed 13 of 20 passes for 260 yards and two scores as the North Sevier Wolves routed the South Sevier Rams 23-7 Friday in non-region football action. This represents only the 11th time in their history that the Wolves have defeated the Rams on the gridiron.

The Wolves started out with touchdown passes on two of their first three plays as Crane found Burke Mickelsen for a 92-yard scoring reception and Hunter Higgs for a 73-yard scoring play.

North Sevier took a 16-0 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter as South Sevier signal-caller Tracen Winkel (14 of 24, 168 yards, TD) was sacked by Mickelsen and Kyler Johnson for a safety.

Gabe Wilcox (10 car, 90 yards, TD) put the game away for the Wolves on his 45-yard touchdown run in the 4th Quarter, while Winkel’s touchdown pass to Karson Hunt from 7 yards away helped the Rams avert the shutout. Jaxin Torgerson ran for 107 yads on 19 carries in a gallant performance in defeat for South Sevier.

The Wolves next host Richfield August 23 at 7:00 pm on KSVC-AM 980 and South Sevier hosts Enterprise August 23 at 7:00 pm.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Kaleb Barney had a 54-yard touchdown run and Crayton Hollingshead had touchdown runs of 58 and 3 yards as the Beaver Beavers decimated Canyon View 60-7 in non-region football action Friday. Ryker Albrecht, EJ Allred and Turner Williams also had touchdown runs for the Beavers. Allred added an interception return for a score for the Beavers and Dylan Bartlett threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Jarret Fairhurst as well for Beaver.

MANTI, Utah-Seth Jensen, Tyler Taukeiaho and Trevor Robinson all ran for touchdowns as the Manti Templars routed Class 4-A Crimson Cliffs 27-14 in the first game in history for the Mustangs’ program in non-region football action Friday. Karson Parry also threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to Travis Thomson for Manti.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Landon Bowles threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Jaxton Langschwager as the North Sanpete Hawks edged Grantsville 7-6 Friday in non-region football action. Nate Wright had a pair of field goals in defeat for the Cowboys.

HURRICANE, Utah-Zac Cowan threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Juab Wasps outgunned Hurricane 41-30 in non-region football action Friday. Trey Lund added a 3-yard touchdown run in victory for the Wasps.

KAMAS, Utah-Bryson Barnes threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Milford Tigers routed the South Summit Wildcats 38-9 Friday in non-region football action. Bret Beebe ran for a score, caught a scoring pass and returned a kickoff for a touchdown as well in the rout for the Tigers.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Austin Burraston ran for a touchdown and caught another scoring pass as the Millard Eagles smacked Emery 20-7 in non-region football action Friday. Sam Marshal also hauled in a 20-yard touchdown pass from Brooks Myers in the win for the Eagles.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Brittyn Riddle returned punts 70 and 58 yards, respectively, for touchdowns, while catching a 34-yard touchdown pass from Gavin Brown and adding a 43-yard touchdown run as the Richfield Wildcats ran roughshod over the Providence Hall Patriots 42-0 Friday in non-region football action. Brown also threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Mayson Hitchens and a 24-yard scoring toss to Dominic Rolph in the rout for the Wildcats.

DELTA, Utah-Jake Jackson’s 1-yard touchdown run in the third overtime lifted Delta to a 34-28 win over San Juan in non-region football action Friday. Jackson added another touchdown run and hauled in a scoring pass from Austin Topham from nine yards out for the Rabbits. Topham also threw a 51-yard touchdown pass to Jaydon Goold and Oran Finlinson had a 6-yard touchdown run for Delta.
