SPANISH FORK, Utah-Alec Corona had the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the 7th Inning and the No. 3 ALA Eagles outlasted No. 14 Manti 8-7 in the 1st round of the 3A state tournament. Jaden Barton had 3 RBI in the loss for the Templars.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Josh Jackson posted eight strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work as the No. 6 Delta Rabbits outlasted No. 11 Ogden 3-2 in the 1st round of the 3A state tournament Saturday at the Spanish Fork Sports Park.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Daysun Cuthill earned the complete game win on the mound as ALA beat Delta 2-1 in the 2nd round of the 3A State tournament Saturday. ALA will play Juan Diego Thursday at 1:30 in the quarterfinals at UVU. Delta will play Summit Academy at 11 AM Thursday at Mountain View High School in the 1-loss bracket.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-The No. 2 Canyon View Falcons overpowered No. 18 Grand 8-3 Saturday in the 1st round of the 3A state tournament.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-The No. 7 Juan Diego Soaring Eagle routed No. 10 Richfield 19-9 in the 1st round of the 3A State Tournament Saturday.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-The No. 7 Juan Diego Soaring Eagle upset No. 2 Canyon View 22-21 Saturday at the Canyon View Pod. The Soaring Eagle next meets ALA Thursday at 1:30 pm in the state quarterfinals at Utah Valley University. Canyon View will play Union Thursday at 11 AM in the 1-loss bracket at the Spanish Fork Dons baseball field.

DUCHESNE, Utah-Parker Crum drove in five runs and the No. 4 Duchesne Eagles clobbered No. 13 Monticello 20-0 Saturday in the 1st round of the 2A state tournament at the Duchesne pod. Crum posted four strikeouts in two innings of work to record the win on the mound for the Eagles.
DUCHESNE, Utah-Waylon White drove in a pair of runs and the No. 5 Kanab Cowboys downed No. 12 North Summit 8-1 at the Duchesne pod Saturday. Bracken McQuivey had eight strikeouts in seven innings to record the win on the mound for the Cowboys.

BLANDING, Utah-The No. 6 Parowan Rams clobbered No. 11 Millard 16-5 Saturday during the 2A state tournament at the San Juan Pod.

MANTI, Utah-Abbee Albrecht drove in three runs and the No. 14 Richfield Wildcats hammered No. 19 Judge 18-0 in a 3A play-in game Saturday in the 3A state softball tournament. Shyanna Begishie posted five strikeouts in two innings of work to record the win in the circle for the Wildcats.

PRICE, Utah-The No. 16 Juan Diego Soaring Eagle outlasted No. 17 Delta 5-4 Saturday in a play-in game for the 3A State softball tournament at Carbon High School. McKenna Smith drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Rabbits. The loss ended Delta’s season.

GUNNISON, Utah-Rilee Dyreng, Kennedi Knudsen, Hadlee McDonald, Raven Pickett and Lexee Keisel each had 2 RBI and the No. 4 Gunnison Valley Bulldogs routed No. 13 Piute 15-0 Saturday at the Gunnison Valley pod during the 2A state tournament. Keisel earned the win in the circle for the Bulldogs, posting a strikeout in four innings of work. The Bulldogs next play Thursday at 10:00 am at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex against No. 5 Parowan.
