GUNNISON, Utah-Easton Newman pitched three innings, posted seven strikeouts and drove in a run as the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs downed Millard 7-2 Tuesday in non-region baseball play. Treyden Terry had four strikeouts in the loss for the Eagles.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Troy Madsen drove in five runs and the Manti Templars overpowered Richfield 19-7 in non-region baseball play Tuesday.

HURRICANE, Utah-The Hurricane Tigers came through with the game-winning run in the bottom of the 7th Inning as they outlasted Kanab 8-7 Tuesday in non-region baseball play. Jaden Holder and Maddix Baird drove in a pair of runs apiece in the loss for the Cowboys.

2A South

GUNNISON, Utah-Jon Willden scored twice and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs routed Millard 5-1 Tuesday in 2A South boys soccer play. Zack Overly, Bryson Sorensen and Pearson Judy also scored in victory for the Bulldogs.

HURRICANE, Utah-The Beaver Beavers blanked Diamond Ranch 4-0 in 2A South boys soccer play Tuesday.

Non-Region

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Teegan McDonals and Carlos Acosta each scored and the Delta Rabbits blanked Canyon View 2-0 in non-region boys soccer action Tuesday.

NEPHI, Utah-Jaxon Drake and Nixon Curtis both found the net and the Juab Wasps doubled up Richfield 2-1 Tuesday in non-region boys soccer play. Daxton Tait scored in defeat for the Wildcats.
