ST. GEORGE, Utah-Bradley Haycock and Griffin Bone each posted 2 RBI and Bone earned the win on the mound as the Kanab Cowboys blasted Duchesne 12-2 Friday at the Red, White and Blue Tournament at Crimson Cliffs High School.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Canyon Kutch netted 3 RBI and the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs blasted Kanab 11-2 at the Red, White and Blue Tournament at Crimson Cliffs High School Friday. Derek Houston posted 5 strikeouts in defeat for Kanab.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Petey Soto, Canyon Kutch, Ty Maynard and Trey Evans each drove in two runs and the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs pounded Richfield 11-0 Friday at Crimson Cliffs High School during the Red, White and Blue Tournament. Chase Hansen earned the win on the mound for the Mustangs.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Treven Yardley posted 4 RBI and Nick Goodman belted 5 hits and the Parowan Rams downed Richfield 14-8 at Crimson Cliffs High School during the Red, White and Blue Tournament. Kasey Giddings had 2 RBI in defeat for the Wildcats.
Softball
Region 12
MONROE, Utah-Aubrey Gleave homered and the Richfield Wildcats smacked South Sevier 22-6 in Region 12 softball action Friday. Sydney Knutson drove in three more runs for the Wildcats. Jacee Albrecht earned the win in the circle for Richfield. Mercedes Perschon and McKadee Blackner added 2 RBI apiece in victory for Richfield. Kadence Anderson and Aspynn Dickinson each had RBI in the loss for the Rams.
2-A Central
JUNCTION, Utah-Vallee Northington posted 4 RBI and Hannah Whittwer added three more runs driven in as the Piute Thunderbirds outgunned Valley 18-17 in 2-A Central softball action Friday. Ashley Talbot added 2 more RBI in victory for Piute with Stormee Barnson earning the win in the circle for the Thunderbirds.
Boys Soccer
Region 14
DELTA, Utah-Braiden Gonder scored twice and the Delta Rabbits blanked Juab 5-0 in Region 14 boys soccer action Friday. Rider Rogers, Teegan McDonald and Grady Lovell also found the net for the Rabbits.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Brady Jacobsen and Angel Figueroa each scored twice and the North Sanpete Hawks pummeled Maeser 6-2 Friday in Region 14 boys soccer action. Dante Lowe and Denilson Carias also scored for the Hawks. AJ Stone scored twice in the loss for the Eagles.
LINDON, Utah-Juan Palmerin scored and the Manti Templars downed Maeser Prep 1-0 in Region 14 boys soccer action Friday. Shane Arnoldsen earned the shutout in victory for the Templars.
