Hurricane Spring Fling @ Hurricane High School

HURRICANE, Utah-Brogun Virostko drove in a pair of runs and the Kanab Cowboys waxed East 6-1 at the Hurricane Spring Fling Friday. Brady Ramsay netted six strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cowboys. Lunt McDonald drove in a run in the loss for the Leopards.

HURRICANE, Utah-Brayden Heybourne and Hayden Gubler drove in two runs apiece and the Kanab Cowboys routed Hillcrest 14-4 Friday at the Hurricane Spring Fling. Nolan Baird posted five strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cowboys. Peyton Sady drove in a run in defeat for the Huskies.

HURRICANE, Utah-Jack Fitzgerald and Joey Monte each drove in a pair of runs and the Hurricane Tigers dismantled North Sanpete 10-2 Friday at the Hurricane Spring Fling. Jon Raddatz netted 12 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Tigers.

MOAB, Utah-Ki Anzalone homered and the Beaver Beavers smoked American Leadership 16-3 Friday at the Red Devil Invitational at Grand High School. Tyge Blomquist netted six strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Beavers.

MOAB, Utah-Tyge Blomquist drove in five runs and the Beaver Beavers doubled up San Juan 16-8 at the Red Devil Invitational Friday. Davin Orton’s three strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Beavers. Jagger Nieves and Keilan Hutchins drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Broncos.

North Sevier High School

SALINA, Utah-Davis Malmgren homered and the North Sevier Wolves smoked Millard 12-2 in tournament play Friday at the Frozen Rope Tournament. Kade Harward’s five strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Wolves. Ammon Memmott drove in two runs in the loss for the Eagles.

SALINA, Utah-Branson Adams drove in three runs and the Millard Eagles waxed Milford 3-1 at the Frozen Rope Tournament Friday. Zach Higgins netted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Eagles. Tyce Barnes drove in a run in the loss for the Tigers.

MONROE, Utah-Waylon Sorenson homered and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs drililed Enterprise 7-0 Friday at the Frozen Rope Tournament. Sorenson’s 10 strikeouts in six innings of work secured the win on the mound for the Bulldogs.

MONROE, Utah-Landry Edwards homered and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs dismantled Duchesne 13-2 at the Frozen Rope Tournament Friday. Braxton Pickett’s 13 strikeouts in six innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Bulldogs.
