Region 14
MANTI, Utah-Jordan Blauer posted 20 points and 6 rebounds on 5-7 shooting and 8-8 from the foul line as the Manti Templars smacked the North Sanpete Hawks 75-33 Friday in Region 14 boys basketball action.
The Templars conclude the regular season at 21-1 and 12-0 in Region 14 play and captured the region championship, going away. Manti shot 85.7 percent (18-21) at the foul line.
Manti, who will be the No. 1 seed in the 3-A state tournament in all likelihood, shot 55.6 percent (25-45) for the game and also received 14 points on 6-8 from the field from Kevin Clark. Trevin Morley had 7 points on 3-6 from the field for the Hawks, who fell to 7-14 and 4-8 in Region 14 play to end their regular season.
Blauer was among six seniors honored on Senior Night for the Templars. The others were Tyler Thomson, Conner Christiansen, Kevin Clark, Konner Clark and Isaac Cluff.
NEPHI, Utah-Ty Allred stepped up with 22 points and the Juab Wasps smacked Maeser Prep 81-52 in Region 14 boys basketball action Friday. Matt Miller’s 13 points led the Lions in defeat.
Region 12
MONROE, Utah-Josh Thalman amassed 37 points and 6 rebounds, making six 3-pointers, as the Richfield Wildcats clobbered South Sevier 74-32 in Region 12 boys basketball action Friday. Brandt Williams had 17 points in the loss for the Rams.
Region 16
ALTAMONT, Utah-Braxton Sylvester and Harley Hill had 11 points apiece and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs routed Altamont 58-32 Friday in Region 16 boys basketball action. Cordale Taylor had 13 points in the loss for the Longhorns.
DUCHESNE, Utah-Marshall Okerlund led the way with 20 points and the North Sevier Wolves edged Duchesne 64-60 in Region 16 boys basketball action Friday. Brock Adams, Jordan Clayburn and Kason Grant had 13 points apiece for the Eagles in defeat.
Region 18
BEAVER, Utah-Ky Brown netted 22 points and the Beaver Beavers smacked Parowan 43-38 Friday in Region 18 boys basketball action. Max Topham had 13 points and 9 rebounds for the Rams in defeat.
KANAB, Utah-Nathaniel “Hoss” Houston amassed 15 points as the Kanab Cowboys bested Millard 61-47 in Region 18 boys basketball action Friday. Tyce Davies paced the Eagles in the loss with 13 points.

Region 16
DUCHESNE, Utah-Brinley Mason stepped up with 18 points and the North Sevier Wolves waxed Duchesne 40-25 Friday in Region 16 girls basketball action. Baylee Clayburn had 6 points for the Eagles in the loss.
ALTAMONT, Utah-Alyssa Abbott posted 17 points as the Altamont Longhorns edged Gunnison Valley 56-53 in Region 16 girls basketball action Friday. Kaylee Dyreng’s 22 points led the Bulldogs in the loss.
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Kassidy Westwood led the way with 20 points and the Piute Thunderbirds hammered Escalante 69-47 in Region 20 girls basketball action Friday. Kenzie Lyman led the Moquis in defeat with 17 points.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Jaycee Rose netted 15 points as the Milford Tigers pounded Panguitch 68-38 Friday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Kiesa Miller had 21 points for the Bobcats in the loss.
BICKNELL, Utah-Abby Stevens posted 25 points and 6 rebounds as the Wayne Badgers routed Valley 71-54 in Region 20 girls basketball action Friday. Hannah Williams added 20 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds in the win for the Badgers. Esther Cox and Paige Harris had 14 points apiece in defeat for the Buffaloes.
TROPIC, Utah-Melissa Jessop had 20 points as the Water Canyon Wildcats edged Bryce Valley 41-40 in Region 20 girls basketball action Friday. Oakley Johnson led the Mustangs with 18 points in the loss.
