RICHFIELD, Utah-Kyler Bennett netted 19 points and 7 rebounds and the Panguitch Bobcats bested Intermountain Christian 58-53 Thursday in the 1-A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Ryker Hatch added 18 points for the Bobcats, who made 14-15 free throws (93.3 percent) to pull out the win and advance to Friday’s semifinals. Caleb Koski had 27 points on 10-19 shooting in the loss for the Lions. Panguich next faces Valley Friday at 8:30 pm in the second of two semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Gavin Hoyt amassed 13 points and 7 rebounds on 5-8 shooting as the Valley Buffaloes pounded Piute 44-17 at the Sevier Valley Center Thursday in the 1-A state quarterfinals. Quade Gleave led the Thunderbirds in defeat with 8 points. Piute next faces Intermountain Christian Friday at 2:30 pm in the one-loss bracket at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Treyson Roberts posted 26 points and 18 rebounds for the Bryce Valley Mustangs in a 67-58 win over the Wendover Wildcats in the 1-A state quarterfinals Thursday at the Sevier Valley Center. Bryce Valley next faces No. 1 seed Manila in the 1-A semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center Friday at 7:00 pm
1-A Consolation Bracket @ Richfield H.S.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kyden Peters led the way with 19 points and the Milford Tigers eliminated Whitehorse 55-49 Thursday at Richfield High School in the 1-A consolation bracket. Milford next draws Rich Friday at 2:30 pm.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Rad Hughes posted 15 points as the Green River Pirates downed Wayne 62-52 at Richfield High School in the 1-A consolation bracket Thursday. Jesse Webb led the Badgers in the loss with 16 points.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Kiesa Miller posted 17 points and 9 rebounds on 7-13 shooting and made the game-winning layup in the closing seconds as the Panguitch Bobcats outlasted Whitehorse 54-52 Thursday at the Sevier Valley Center.
Kyan Orton (15 points, 6 assists, 5-10 shooting) and Mataya Barney (13 points, 5-7 shooting) also led the Bobcats, who have advanced to the state semifinals. Bahazhoni Filfred netted 20 points and 6 rebounds in defeat for the Raiders. Panguitch next faces Milford Friday at 5:30 pm in the state semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Madysen Griffiths netted 16 points as the Milford Tigers downed Monument Valley 49-46 in the state quarterfinals Thursday at the Sevier Valley Center. Jamika Nelson posted 20 points on 8-13 from the field in the loss for the Cougars.
RICHFIELD, Utah-McKina Stacey’s 24 points led the way as the No. 1 seed Rich Rebels overpowered Bryce Valley 41-24 Thursday at the Sevier Valley Center in the state quarterfinals. Brooklyn Syrett had 11 points in the loss for the Mustangs.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Melissa Jessop netted 36 points and 12 rebounds on 14-20 as the Water Canyon Wildcats upset Valley 50-48, advancing to the state semifinals Friday. Esther Cox had 25 points in the loss for the Buffaloes, who next play Bryce Valley Friday at 10:00 am in the one-loss bracket. Water Canyon faces Rich Friday at 4:00 pm in the state semifinals.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Abby Stevens led the way with 18 points as the Wayne Badgers clobbered Pinncale 54-22 Thursday in the 1-A consolation bracket at Richfield High School. Stephanie Sasser had 14 points in defeat for the Panthers. Wayne next faces Tabiona Friday at 11:30 am at Richfield High School.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Leslie Luna posted 18 points and the Wendover Wildcats gashed Escalante 40-29 Thursday in the 1-A consolation bracket at Richfield High School. Mikki Prows led the Moquis in defeat with 10 points.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Piute bested Green River 42-29 Thursday at Richfield High School in the 1-A consolation bracket. Talynn Lovato had 12 points for the Pirates in the loss. Piute next meets Wendover Friday at 10:00 am at Richfield High School.
