RICHFIELD, Utah-Quadyn Tebbs’ 14 points led the way as the Bryce Valley Mustangs routed Mount Vernon 62-32 at Richfield High School Wednesday. Orlando Martinez had 16 points in the loss for the Patriots. Bryce Valley next meets Wendover Thursday at 8:30 pm in the state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Conner Chamberlain led the way with 14 points as the Valley Buffaloes downed Milford 60-52 in triple overtime Wednesday at Richfield High School. Zach Sherwood’s game-high 23 points led the Tigers in defeat. Valley next faces Piute Thusday at 2:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center in the state quarterfinals.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kelby Jessen netted 15 points as the Piute Thunderbirds bested Whitehorse 55-35 Wednesday at Richfield High School. D’Wayne Nakai had 15 points in the loss for the Raiders.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Esther Cox posted 14 points and 8 rebounds as the Valley Buffaloes bested Green River 48-32 in the second round of the 1-A state tournament Wednesday at the Sevier Valley Center. Talynn Lovato had 12 points and 10 rebounds in defeat for the Pirates. Valley next faces Water Canyon Thursday at 5:30 pm in the state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Melissa Jessop netted 16 points and 11 rebounds and Tori Thompson added 14 points and 11 rebounds as No. 12 seed Water Canyon upset No. 5 seed Piute 44-34 at the Sevier Valley Center Wednesday. Heidi Jensen, Kassidy Westwood and Alysen Talbot had 7 points apiece in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
RICHFIELD, Utah-McKina Stacey led the way with 17 points and 6 rebounds on 7-13 shooting as the Rich Rebels pounded Escalante 40-16 Wednesday at the Sevier Valley Center. Zoee Torgerson had 8 points and 12 rebounds in the loss for the Moquis.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Oakley Johnson posted 14 points and Brooklyn Syrett added 11 points and 8 rebounds as the Bryce Valley Mustangs dismantled Wendover 36-15 at the Sevier Valley Center Wednesday. Samantha Carrillo had 4 points in the loss for the Mustangs. Bryce Valley next faces Rich Thursday at 4:00 pm in the state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kiesa Miller netted 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Panguitch Bobcats routed Tabiona 53-38 at the Sevier Valley Center Wednesday. Paiton Lazenby’s 14 points on 6-12 from the field led the Tigers in defeat. Panguitch next draws Whitehorse in the quarterfinals Thursday at 10:00 am at the Sevier Valley Center.
