OREM, Utah-Austin Park recorded 24 points and 7 rebounds and the No. 5 Juab Wasps upset No. 4 South Summit 59-39 Monday in the 3A state quarterfinals at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. Logan Woolstenhulme led the Wildcats in defeat with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Juab next advances to the state semifinals Tuesday at 7:30 pm against No. 1 Morgan.
OREM, Utah-Kolton Asay posted 21 points and 5 rebounds on 8-16 from the field and 5-9 behind the arc as the No. 1 Morgan Trojans pounded No. 9 Emery 64-39 at the UCCU Center Monday in the 3A state quarterfinals. Jace Frandsen and West Johansen had 9 points apiece in defeat for the Spartans.
OREM, Utah-JJ Apathjang netted 28 points and 10 rebounds and the No. 7 Judge Bulldogs upset No. 2 Canyon View 62-59 in the 3A state quarterfinals Monday at the UCCU Center. Felps Sanders posted 29 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Falcons. Judge next faces No. 3 Richfield Tuesday at 9:10 pm in the state semifinals at the UCCU Center.
OREM, Utah-Jorgen Southwick led the way with 18 points and 7 rebounds and the No. 3 Richfield Wildcats overpowered No. 6 Union 55-41 at the UCCU Center Monday in the 3A state quarterfinals. Wayke Olsen’s 20 points led the Cougars in defeat.

OREM, Utah-Emma Broadbent posted 22 points and 17 rebounds on 10-13 from the field and No. 3 South Summit edged No. 6 Richfield 56-53 in the battle of the Wildcats Monday in the 3A state quarterfinals at the UCCU Center. Katie Anderson netted 20 points and 6 rebounds on 7-13 from the field in the loss for Richfield. South Summit next faces No. 2 Canyon View in the state semifinals Tuesday at 5:50 pm at the UCCU Center.
OREM, Utah-Maya Nichols recorded 21 points on 8-12 from the field and 3-4 behind the arc as the No. 2 Canyon View Falcons downed No. 7 Juab 47-40 Monday at the UCCU Center in the 3A state quarterfinals. Hailee Hall netted 14 points on 7-10 from the field in defeat for the Wasps.
OREM, Utah-Baylee Lowder posted 27 points and 7 rebounds on 10-19 from the field and the No. 1 Grantsville Lady Cowboys overpowered No. 8 Judge 70-57 at the UCCU Center in the 3A state quarterfinals Monday. Elyssia Gallardo’s 15 points on 5-9 behind the arc led the Bulldogs in the loss. Grantsville next faces No. 5 Emery Tuesday at 4:10 pm in the state semifinals at the UCCU Center.
OREM, Utah-Katelyn Nielson posted 16 points and 9 rebounds and the No. 5 Emery Spartans overpowered No. 4 Morgan 44-30 in the 3A state quarterfinals Monday at the UCCU Center. Zoe Rockenfield’s 12 points and 5 rebounds led the Trojans in the loss.
