Region 20 Tournament 1st Round @ Home Sites
JUNCTION, Utah-Brooks Dalton led the way with 19 points and the No. 2 Piute Thunderbirds dismantled No. 7 Water Canyon in the first round of the Region 20 tournament at Piute High School Thursday. Piute next faces Bryce Valley in the Region 20 semifinals Friday at 4:30 pm at Panguitch High School.
Patrick Hammon had 14 points in the loss for the Wildcats.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Treyson Clark’s 19 points led the way and the No. 6 Bryce Valley Mustangs upset No. 3 Valley 60-56 Thursday at Valley High School in the first round of the Region 20 tournament. Bret Heaton’s game-high 26 points led the Buffaloes in defeat.
MILFORD, Utah-Sadler Barnes posted 21 points and the No. 4 Milford Tigers downed No. 5 Wayne 49-42 in the first round of the Region 20 tournament Thursday at Milford High School. Milford next faces No. 1 Panguitch Friday at 7:00 pm in the Region 20 semifinals at Panguitch High School.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Klyn Fullmer recorded 22 points on 10-13 from the field and the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats decimated No. 8 Escalante 80-25 at Panguitch High School Thursday in the first round of the Region 20 tournament.
