ST. GEORGE, Utah-Anna Cutler recorded 15 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys lassoed Class 5A Viewmont 55-38 Thursday at the Southern Classic at Pine View High School. Kristina Gunnell led the Vikings with 10 points in the loss.

JUNCTION, Utah-Amy Morgan and Kaycee Gleave had 10 points apiece and the Piute Thunderbirds clobbered Merit 55-16 in non-region girls basketball play Thursday. Liz Diaz led the Knights with 8 points in the loss.
GUNNISON, Utah-Maile Ha’o led the way with 18 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs overpowered Tintic 50-37 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Samantha Grimstead had 12 points in the loss for the Miners.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kinley Jensen posted 14 points and the South Sevier Rams got past Richfield 45-39 in non-region girls basketball play Thursday. Brielle Jolley had 13 points in the loss for the Wildcats.
MILFORD, Utah-Brooklin Goble netted 15 points and the North Sevier Wolves clipped Milford 45-36 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Tayleah Spaulding led the Tigers with 19 points in defeat.
