RICHFIELD, Utah-Ryland Randall led the way with 19 points and 5 assists on 7-10 from the field and the Enterprise Wolves overpowered North Sevier 60-42 Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center to conclude the Central Utah Boys Preview. Ethan Fielding posted 21 points on 9-14 from the field in the loss for the North Sevier Wolves. Enterprise improves to 4-0 on the season with the win while North Sevier falls to 1-3.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Reggie Frischknecht netted 17 points and 6 rebounds on 7-14 from the field and the Manti Templars stymied Richfield 62-54 Saturday during the Central Utah Boys Preview at the Sevier Valley Center Saturday. Gage Brower and Connor Holroyd had 16 points apiece for the Wildcats in defeat. Manti improves to 2-1 with the win while Richfield slumps to 1-3 in defeat.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Ridge Tebbs posted 18 points on 8-14 from the field and the South Sevier Rams pounded North Summit 59-39 during the Central Utah Boys Preview Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center. Treyson Pace had 17 points and 6 rebounds on 6-9 from the field for the Braves in the loss. South Sevier improved to 3-1 with the win while North Summit fell to 1-3 in defeat.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Nixon Ordyna and Aiden Harris had 11 points apiece and the Morgan Trojans bested Carbon 55-45 Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center during the Central Utah Boys Preview. Morgan improved to 3-0 with the win. Braxton Stevenson had 17 points on 6-9 from the field in the loss for the Dinos. Carbon fell to 3-3 with the loss.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Ladd Ivins posted 14 points and 7 rebounds on 5-10 from the field and the San Juan Broncos pummeled Duchesne 70-27 during the Central Utah Boys Preview Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center. Jep Young netted 17 points and 4 rebounds on 5-10 from the field for the Eagles in the loss. San Juan improves to 3-0 in victory with Duchesne falling to 1-2 with the loss.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Kanab Cowboys used a 16-3 run in the 4th Quarter to prevail over Delta 63-50 Saturday during the Central Utah Boys Preview Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center. Kason Janes netted 24 points and 15 rebounds for the Cowboys in the win. Wayland Crane’s 21 points and 6 rebounds led the Rabbits in the loss.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Tate Allred led the way with 13 points on 5-7 from the field and the Grantsville Cowboys waxed Juab 51-45 Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center during the Central Utah Boys Preview. Tyler Hathaway led the Wasps in defeat with 11 points. Grantsville improves to 3-0 with the win as the Wasps stumble to 1-3.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Brock Felder netted 27 points and 5 rebounds on 13-20 from the field and the Parowan Rams routed Ogden 66-46 at the Central Utah Boys Preview Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center. Alex Howard had 16 points and 6 rebounds on 7-12 from the field in the loss for the Tigers.
Parowan improved to 2-2 on the season with the win while Ogden fell to 3-1.
Non-Region
ESCALANTE, Utah-The Escalante Moquis bested Whitehorse 58-47 Saturday in non-region boys basketball action Saturday. Brett James’ 17 points led the Raiders in defeat.
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Corbyn Dalton posted 17 points and the Milford Tigers hammered Merit 52-19 Saturday in non-region boys baketball play. Allen Merdonca had 5 points in defeat for the Knights.
Girls Basketball
Delta Tournament
DELTA, Utah-Grayce Glover led the way with 12 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys humbled Duchesne 42-36 Saturday at the Palladium at the Delta Tournament. Kelsey Grant and Grace Davis had 11 points apiece for the Eagles in defeat.
DELTA, Utah-Ashlynd Hunt stepped up with 24 points and the Delta Rabbits gashed Crimson Cliffs 62-40 Saturday at the Delta Tournament at the Palladium. Samiyah Jones had 10 points for the Mustangs in defeat.
Desert Hills Holiday Classic
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Nicole Willardson amassed 18 points and the Richfield Wildcats edged Desert Hills 44-41 at the Desert Hills Holiday Classic Saturday. Alivia Cluff had 11 points for the Thunder in defeat.
Region 20
PANGUITCH, Utah-Kyan Orton netted 13 points and the Panguitch Bobcats smacked Valley 48-36 in Region 20 girls basketball play. D’Aundra House’s 11 points led the Buffaloes in defeat.
Non-Region
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-JaLeana Tsosie netted 12 points and the Milford Tigers blasted Merit 49-14 in non-region girls basketball play Saturday.
TABIONA, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds edged Tabiona 44-43 Saturday in non-region girls basketball action. Sicily Fabrizio led the Tigers in defeat with 11 points.
