MANTI, Utah-Miles Barnett netted 22 points and the Richfield Wildcats edged Manti 60-58 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. Reggie Frischknecht led the Templars with 18 points in defeat.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Felps Sanders led the way with 20 points and 9 rebounds as the Canyon View Falcons overpowered North Sanpete 56-39 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. Cole Cook led the Hawks in defeat with 10 points.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Luke Justice stepped up with 16 points and the Emery Spartans hammered Delta 62-39 Wednesday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Cai Henderson had 12 points in the loss for the Rabbits.
PRICE, Utah-Austin Park recorded 18 points and the Juab Wasps smacked Carbon 77-61 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. Zeke Willson led the Dinos in defeat with 19 points.
Region 18
MONROE, Utah-Stockton Roberts amassed 21 points and the South Sevier Rams decimated Water Canyon 86-36 Wednesday in Region 18 boys basketball play. David Barlow led the Wildcats in the loss with 18 points.
BEAVER, Utah-Baylor Blackburn’s 19 points and 9 rebounds led the way and the Beaver Beavers pounded Millard 52-30 in Region 18 boys basketball play Wednesday. Derek Memmott led the Eagles with 7 points in the loss.
Region 20
MILFORD, Utah-Kilo Tsosie stepped up with 13 points and 10 rebounds and the Milford Tigers doubled up Bryce Valley 48-24 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Rustyn Chynoweth led the Mustangs in the loss with 10 points.
Non-Region
SALINA, Utah-Johnny Cox posted 19 points and 16 rebounds on 8-14 from the field and the Valley Buffalos outlasted North Sevier 57-53 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Brody Bulloch’s 25 points and 6 rebounds on 8-15 from the field led the Wolves in defeat.
Valley improved to 6-3 on the season in victory while North Sevier fell to 3-5.
JUNCTION, Utah-Will Myers recorded 20 points and the Piute Thunderbirds routed Pinnacle 63-44 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Cole Barton led the Panthers with 19 points in the loss.
GUNNISON, Utah-Ty Warnick netted 19 points and the Providence Hall Patriots bested Gunnison Valley 59-49 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Tyson Tucker led the Bulldogs with 19 points in defeat.
Girls Basketball
Region 20
MILFORD, Utah-Tayleah Spaulding’s 18 points led the way and the Milford Tigers edged Bryce Valley 35-32 in Region 20 girls basketball play Wednesday. Cashae Tebbs and Alexandra Rauba had 8 points apiece in defeat for the Mustangs.
ESCALANTE, Utah-Raegyn Blackburn posted 11 points and the Wayne Badgers bested Escalante 45-31 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Mazee Dunton’s game-high 13 points paced the Moquis in defeat.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Tabetha Henrie recorded 28 points and the Panguitch Bobcats pounded Valley 71-42 in Region 20 girls basketball play Wednesday. Lindsey Franklin led the Buffalos in the loss with 11 points.
Non-Region
KAMAS, Utah-Ava Cuff’s 17 points led the Juab Wasps to a 49-32 win over South Summit in non-region girls basketball play Wednesday. Emma Broadbent led the Wildcats with 13 points in the loss.
