ST. GEORGE, Utah-Reggie Frischknecht posted 19 points and the Manti Templars waxed Slam Academy (Nev.) 63-48 at the Coach Walker Classic at Pine View High School Saturday. Noah Tomlin led the Bulls in defeat with 15 points.
Panther Winter Classic @ Pinnacle
PRICE, Utah-Ryker Peterson led the way with 20 points and the Wayne Badgers pounded Merit 68-26 Saturday at the Panther Winter Classic. Ayden Martinez led the Knights with 11 points in the loss.
PRICE, Utah-Ryker Peterson posted 13 points and the Wayne Badgers humbled Manila 56-44 at the Panther Winter Classic Saturday. Riley Browning’s game-high 19 points led the Mustangs in the loss.
Non-Region
PANGUITCH, Utah-Daxton Miller recorded 22 points and 11 assists as the Panguitch Bobcats pounded Grand 84-57 Saturday in non-region boys basketball play. Jason McKinney’s 18 points led the Red Devils in defeat.
Girls Basketball
2A-3A Preview @ SVC
RICHFIELD, Utah-Shayda Carter and Kyra Moat had 7 points apiece and the Millard Eagles bested Union 29-24 at the 2A-3A preview Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center. Lexie Davenport had 9 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Cougars. Millard won without the services of Sydney Braman (illness) and improved to 5-0 over Union since 2019.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Chezlie Langston recorded 16 points and 16 rebounds on 7-12 from the field and the North Summit Braves overpowered Juab 55-44 at the Sevier Valley Center Saturday at the 2A-3A preview. Ava Cuff’s 11 points led the Wasps in the loss. North Summit is now 26-3 against Juab since 2002.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Avery Backus led the way with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the Summit Academy Bears blitzed Parowan 50-31 Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center at the 2A-3A preview. Bella Robinson’s 13 points led the Rams in defeat.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Anna Cutler recorded 24 points and 7 assists on 8-15 from the field and 5-5 at the foul line as the Kanab Lady Cowboys overpowered Carbon 61-46 at the 2A-3A preview Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center. Madison Orth had 12 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Dinos.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kayla Miller posted 10 points and 11 rebounds and the Union Cougars humbled Delta 40-33 Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center during the 2A-3A preview. Joslyn Christiansen led the Rabbits in the loss with 14 points.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Jaycee Barlow posted 15 points and 14 rebounds and the Enterprise Wolves edged North Sevier 40-39 during the 2A-3A prevew Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center. Alyssa Rosquist recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds in defeat for the North Sevier Wolves.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kinley Jenson and Sydnee Patterson posted 12 points apiece and the South Sevier Rams routed Duchesne 56-42 at the Sevier Valley Center Saturday during the 2A-3A preview. Chezney Farnsworth’s 10 points and 10 rebounds led the Eagles in the loss.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Hallie Janes posted 18 points on 6-10 from range and the Richfield Wildcats smacked Beaver 52-32 Saturday to conclude the 2A-3A preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Brittni Crum led the Beavers with 11 points on 3-4 from the field in defeat.

PRICE, Utah-Sicily Fabrizio led the way with 12 points and the Tabiona Tigers bested Wayne 45-40 at the Panther Winter Classic Saturday. AJ VanDyke’s 12 points led the Badgers in defeat.
PRICE, Utah-Amy Morgan posted 10 points and the Piute Thunderbirds got past Rockwell 42-38 Saturday at the Panther Winter Classic. Kiaya Bond’s 16 points paced the Marshals in the loss.
PRICE, Utah-Cadence Kasprick netted 25 points and the Grand Red Devils humbled Escalante 41-29 at the Panther Winter Classic Saturday. Mazee Dunton led the Moquis with 11 points in defeat.
