ST. GEORGE, Utah-Austin Thomas led the way with 23 points and the Manti Templars bested Cedar City 72-67 at the Coach Walker Classic Friday at Crimson Cliffs High School. Landon Kreitzer led the Reds in the loss with 28 points.

Region 12

NEPHI, Utah-Luke Justice posted 14 points and the Emery Spartans edged Juab 56-54 in Region 12 boys basketball play Friday. Braxton Hooper and Owen Bailey had 13 points apiece in the loss for the Wasps.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Ridge Hendry recorded 26 points and the North Sanpete Hawks pummeled Carbon 66-43 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Zeke Willson led the Dinos with 10 points in defeat.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Felps Sanders posted 22 points and the Canyon View Falcons edged Richfield 55-54 in Region 12 boys basketball play Friday. Gage Yardley’s 14 points led the Wildcats in defeat.

Non-Region

GUNNISON, Utah-Tyce Hill posted 17 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs downed Draper APA 59-54 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Ian Campbell led the Eagles in defeat with 16 points.

DUCHESNE, Utah-Parker Crum netted 26 points and the Duchesne Eagles overpowered South Sevier 67-55 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Slade Summerhays had 13 points in defeat for the Rams.

HURRICANE, Utah-RJ Hurst’s 26 points and 8 rebounds led the way and the Hurricane Tigers got past Delta 72-66 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Bronco Bundy posted 23 points in the loss for the Rabbits.

FILLMORE, Utah-Trevor Richins posted 14 points and 9 rebounds as the North Summit Braves hammered Millard 54-34 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Derk Memmott led the Eagles in the loss with 11 points.

TROPIC, Utah-Kade Johnson led the way with 12 points and the North Sevier Wolves routed Bryce Valley 59-43 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Zaren Roberts led the Mustangs in defeat with 14 points.

Girls Basketball

2A-3A Season Preview @ Sevier Valley Center

RICHFIELD, Utah-Danzee Bradshaw’s 16 points and 6 rebounds led the way and the Beaver Beavers outlasted Juab 46-44 during the 2A-3A season preview Friday at the Sevier Valley Center. Talia Alisa added 15 points and 5 rebounds on 6-9 from the field in the win for the Beavers. Ava Cuff’s 15 points and 6 rebounds led the Wasps in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Amiah Timothy’s 31 points and 5 assists on 14-22 from the field led the way and the Carbon Dinos clobbered Millard 64-34 at the Sevier Valley Center Friday during the 2A-3A season preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Olivia Bassett’s 15 points and 5 rebounds led the Eagles in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Ebondy Dodoo posted 19 points and 12 rebounds on 8-13 from the field and the Delta Rabbits downed Parowan 52-28 Friday at the Sevier Valley Center during the 2A-3A season preview. Bella Robinson’s 19 points led the Rams in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Chezney Farnsworth posted 14 points and 9 rebounds on 5-10 from the field and Kira Grant added 14 points and 5 assists on 7-14 from the field as the Duchesne Eagles edged Enterprise 40-46 at the Sevier Valley Center during the 2A-3A season preview Friday. Bentlee Rogers had 11 points and 5 rebounds on 5-9 from the field in the loss for the Wolves.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Savannah Bateman’s 14 points led the way and the Kanab Lady Cowboys lassoed North Summit 53-45 during the 2A-3A season preview Friday at the Sevier Valley Center. Chezlie Langston’s 20 points and 11 rebounds on 9-14 from the field led the Braves in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Alyssa Rosquist scored the last five points of the game, finishing with 22 points and 13 reounds, and the North Sevier Wolves edged Union 52-49 at the Sevier Valley Center Friday during the 2A-3A season preview. Lydia Hoschouer netted a game-high 21 points, along with 8 rebounds, on 10-15 shooting in the loss for the Cougars.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Kinley Jenson posted 15 points and 12 rebounds on 5-10 from the field and made the game-winning layup and the subsequent game-clinching defensive rebound as the South Sevier Rams outlasted Carbon 45-44 during the 2A-3A season preview Friday at the Sevier Valley Center. Kylan Sorenson posted 14 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Dinos.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Kamryn Knutson recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds and Abbee Albrecht added 10 points and 12 rebounds as the Richfield Wildcats smacked Summit Academy 45-29 at the Sevier Valley Center friday during the 2A-3A season preview. Avery Backus netted 13 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Bears.

Panther Winter Classic

PRICE, Utah-Kenadi King led the way with 14 points and the Piute Thunderbirds smacked Grand 59-28 Friday at the Panther Winter Classic at Pinnacle High School. Cadence Kasprick’s 13 points led the Red Devils in the loss.

PRICE, Utah-Mazee Dunton netted 20 points and the Escalante Moquis overpowered Utah Military Camp Williams 45-29 at the Panther Winter Classic Friday at USU Eastern Utah. Leigh Olsen’s 17 points led the Marauders in defeat.

PRICE, Utah-Nahia Maruri led the way with 15 points and the Rockwell Marshals dismantled Escalante 46-32 Friday at the Panther Winter Classic at Pinnacle High School. Mazee Dunton led Escalante in the loss with 12 points.
