Region 20

ESCALANTE, Utah-Kilo Tsosie led the way with 21 points and the Milford Tigers got past Escalante 53-47 in Region 20 boys basketball play Tuesday. Rayce Jenkins led the Moquis in defeat with 16 points.

Non-Region

MANTI, Utah-Luke Johnson posted 18 points and 5 assists and the Class 4A Crimson Cliffs Mustangs bested Manti 72-69 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday. The Mustangs shot 51 percent (26-51) for the game to improve to 4-3 on the season.

Reggie Frischknecht posted 23 points and 11 rebounds on 10-14 from the field in the loss for the Templars, who fell to 5-2.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Luke Henderson netted 23 points and the Rockwell Marshals downed Wasatch Academy’s JV 71-59 Tuesday in a non-region tilt.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Cache Eyre stepped up with 22 points and the Panguitch Bobcats overpowered El Capitan (Ariz.) 54-40 in non-region play Tuesday. Ethan Hammon led the Eagles in the loss with 11 points.

Girls Basketball

Region 12

DELTA, Utah-Joslyn Christiansen netted 23 points and the Delta Rabbits humbled Manti 46-38 in Region 12 girls basketball play at the Palladium Tuesday. Carlie Thompson led the Templars with 12 points in defeat.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Abbee Albrecht posted 14 points and the Richfield Wildcats downed Canyon View 36-32 Tuesday in Region 12 girls basketball play. Maylee Spencer led the Falcons with 10 points in defeat.

PRICE, Utah-Amiah Timothy recorded 31 points and the Carbon Dinos pummeled North Sanpete 76-36 in Region 12 girls basketball play Tuesday. Jessica Applegarth’s 19 points led the Hawks in the loss.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Ava Cuff stepped up with 30 points as the Juab Wasps edged Emery 61-58 Tuesday in Region 12 girls basketball play. Kenadie Maughan had 20 points in the loss for the Spartans.

Region 18

FILLMORE, Utah-Sydney Braman posted 12 points and the Millard Eagles hammered Parowan 52-32 Tuesday in Region 18 girls basketball play. Bella Robinson led the Rams in the loss with 18 points.

KANAB, Utah-Ashlyn Houston led the way with 13 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys got past South Sevier 58-54 in Region 18 girls basketball play Tuesday. Kinsey Parsons led the Rams with 12 points in the loss.

Non-Region

BEAVER, Utah-Gentry Brown and Danzee Bradshaw had 16 points apiece and the Beaver Beavers routed North Sevier 71-21 Tuesday in Region 12 girls basketball play. Alyssa Rosquist had 13 points for the Wolves in the loss.
