3A Semifinals @ Southern Utah University

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Alex Jackson completed 24 of 41 passes for 472 yards, 5 touchdowns and an interception as the No. 1 Juab Wasps downed No. 4  Canyon View 37-21 Saturday in the 3A state semifinals at Eccles Coliseum on the campus of Southern Utah University.

The Wasps also received a strong performance from Wesley Nielsen (6 rec, 116 yards, 3 TD’s) as they amassed 551 yards of offense, averaging 7.8 yards per play on the afternoon.

Jaxon Jensen (20 of 41, 349 yards, 2 INT’s; 2 rush TD’s) led the Falcons in defeat.

Juab next plays for a 3A state championship Friday at Utah Tech University against Morgan.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Gunnar Lish ran for 93 yards and a pair of scores and the No. 2 Morgan Trojans hammered No. 3 Grantsville 27-0 in the 3A state semifinals Saturday at Eccles Coliseum on the campus of Southern Utah University.
