1-A State Quarterfinals

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Kyler Bennett posted four strikeouts and the Panguitch Bobcats routed Wendover 11-0 in the 1-A State baseball quarterfinals at Nelson Field Tuesday.

The Bobcats advance to play Tabiona in Friday’s state semifinals at 12:30 pm at Snow Canyon High School.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 3 Tabiona Tigers blanked No. 6 Valley 1-0 Tuesday at Nelson Field in the 1-A state quarterfinals. Connor Chamberlain had 7 strikeouts in the loss for the Buffaloes.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Ronaldo Santini drove in a run and Treyson Clark posted 10 strikeouts as the No. 5 Bryce Valley Mustangs outlasted No. 4 Wayne 3-2 Tuesday in the 1-A state baseball quarterfinals at Nelson Field.

The Mustangs face the winner of Diamond Ranch-Piute Friday at 10:00 am in the state semifinals at Snow Canyon High School.

Volleyball

Region 14

NEPHI, Utah-The Manti Templars gashed Juab 3-1 in Region 14 volleyball play Tuesday.

DELTA, Utah-The Delta Rabbits humbled Union 3-2 Tuesday in Region 14 volleyball play at the Palladium. The Rabbits tripped up the Cougars 25-16, 24-26, 25-20, 19-25, 15-12.

Region 16

SALINA, Utah-The Millard Eagles bested North Sevier 3-1 Tuesday in Region 16 volleyball play. The Eagles stymied the Wolves 22-25, 25-22, 25-11, 25-17.

DUCHESNE, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs downed Duchesne 3-2 in Region 16 volleyball play Tuesday. The Bulldogs got past the Eagles 23-25, 25-20, 26-28, 25-23, 15-10.

Region 19

BLANDING, Utah-The Beaver Beavers outlasted the San Juan Broncos 3-2 Tuesday in Region 19 volleyball action. The Beavers prevailed 20-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-14, 15-12.

PAROWAN, Utah-The South Sevier Rams downed the Parowan Rams 3-1 in Region 19 volleyball play Tuesday. South Sevier prevailed 23-25, 25-13, 25-13, 25-19 in the battle of the Rams.

KANAB, Utah-Kanab bested Enterprise 3-2 Tuesday in Region 19 volleyball play. The Lady Cowboys downed the Wolves 27-29, 25-14, 21-25, 25-15, 15-12.

Non-Region

RICHFIELD, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks waxed Richfield 3-1 in non-region volleyball play Tuesday.

Girls Soccer

Region 14

ROOSEVELT, Utah-Kate Smith posted a pair of goals as the Delta Rabbits bested the Union Cougars 3-1 in Region 14 girls soccer play Tuesday. Henci Stephenson also scored in victory for Delta.

NEPHI, Utah-The Juab Wasps doubled up North Sanpete 2-1 Tuesday in Region 14 girls soccer play.
