RICHFIELD, Utah-Reggie Hafen completed 11 of 17 passes for 145 yards and two touchdown passes as the Richfield Wildcats hammered North Sanpete 48-14 Wednesday on Senior Night at Richfield High School in 3A South play.
Hafen added a 5-yard touchdown run while Gage Yardley and Beck Giblette had fumble returns for scores for the Wildcats, who captured the 3A South region title as the regular season concluded.
Kai Thomas and Drae Meyers also had touchdown runs for Richfield in the win.
Ty Pringle had a 97-yard kickoff return for a score and a 54-yard scoring reception in defeat for the Hawks.

Region 20
ESCALANTE, Utah-The Escalante Moquis downed Bryce Valley 3-1 in Region 20 volleyball play Wednesday. The Moquis downed the Mustangs 25-20, 22-25, 25-21, 27-25.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-The Valley Buffalos edged Piute 3-2 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball play. The Buffalos outlasted the Thunderbirds 25-20, 23-25, 23-25, 25-20, 15-11.

3A First Round
MANTI, Utah-Taylie Mickelsen posted a hat trick and the No. 3 Manti Templars routed No. 14 Grantsville 6-1 Wednesday in the first round of the 3A girls soccer playoffs. Carlie Thompson, Brooklyn Olson and Kinzee Chidester also scored in the win for the Templars. Baylee Lowder scored in defeat for Grantsville. Manti next hosts No. 6 Juan Diego Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
DRAPER, Utah-Addison Pettit netted a hat trick and the No. 6 Juan Diego Soaring Eagle pounded No. 11 Union 8-1 in the first round of the 3A girls soccer playoffs Wednesday. Haley Foote scored in the loss for the Cougars.
MORGAN, Utah-Lacie Poll recorded a hat trick and the No. 4 Morgan Trojans pounded No. 13 North Sanpete 8-0 Wednesday in the first round of the 3A girls soccer playoffs. Miya Turner posted the shutout for the Trojans. Morgan next hosts No. 5 Delta Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
DELTA, Utah-Paisley Hunt scored twice and the No. 5 Delta Rabbits blanked No. 12 Juab 4-0 in the first round of the 3A girls soccer playoffs Wednesday. Jaylie Taylor and Libby Finlinson scored a goal apiece as well for the Rabbits. Lucy Nickle recorded the shutout for Delta.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kate Warren, Lily Wikstrom and Serena DeAstis scored two goals apiece and the No. 9 Judge Memorial Bulldogs stonewalled No. 8 Richfield 8-0 Wednesday in the first round of the 3A girls soccer playoffs. Rowan Hankins earned the shutout in the net for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs next visit No. 1 Canyon View Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Bethanee Vargas, Erin Hallows and Hadlee Farrow each netted hat tricks and the No. 1 Canyon View Falcons decimated No. 16 South Summit 9-0 in the first round of the 3A girls soccer playoffs Wednesday. Gracie Burt earned the shutout in the net for the Falcons.
OGDEN, Utah-Nevaeh Peregrina’s hat trick led the way and the No. 2 Ogden Tigers smacked No. 15 Providence Hall 7-0 Wendesday in the first round of the 3A girls soccer playoffs. Grace Malan and Emily Blackford combined on the shutout for the Tigers. The Tigers next host No. 7 Carbon Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
PRICE, Utah-Allie Smith and Bailey Johnson each scored and the No. 7 Carbon Dinos doubled up No. 10 Ben Lomond 2-1 in the first round of the 3A girls soccer playoffs Wednesday.

SALT LAKE CITY-Zakrie Smith, Paige Connery and Halle Baughman scored two goals apiece and the No. 3 Rowland Hall-St. Mark’s Winged Lions routed No. 14 APA West Valley 8-0 Wednesday in the first round of the 2A girls state soccer playofs. The Winged Lions next host No. 6 Maeser at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals Saturday. Quinn Orgain recorded the shutout for the Winged Lions.
LINDON, Utah-Vicki Memmott’s hat trick led the way and the No. 6 Maeser Prep Lions stonewalled No. 11 North Summit 6-0 in the first round of the 2A girls soccer state playoffs Wednesday. Alice Watson earned the shutout in the net for the Lions.
AMERICAN FORK, Utah-Portia Boggess scored twice and the No. 7 American Heritage Patriots routed No. 10 Beaver 8-2 Wednesday in the first round of the 2A girls soccer state playoffs. The Patriots next visit No. 2 Waterford Wednesday in the first round of the 2A girls soccer state playoffs.
SANDY, Utah-Grace Morris and Milana Massinpole each scored twice and the No. 2 Waterford Ravens pounded No. 15 San Juan 8-0 in the first round of the 2A girls soccer state playoffs Wednesday. Halee Hasebi earned the shutout in the net for the Ravens.
OGDEN, Utah-Abigail Gough recorded five goals and Sofia Evans and Jaci Coles added hat tricks as the No. 5 St. Joseph Jayhawks pulverized No. 12 South Sevier 14-0 Wednesday in the first round of the 2A girls soccer state playoffs. Gough and Cicily Flores combined on the shutout for the Jayhawks. St. Joseph next visits No. 4 Millard Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
FILLMORE, Utah-Kadi Dearden, Carlie Dearden and Sydney Braman scored two goals apiece and the No. 4 Millard Eagles routed No. 13 ALA 8-0 in the first round of the 2A girls soccer state playoffs Wednesday. Kailey Thurman and Emma Stephenson also cored a goal apiece for Millard. Savannah Wright earned the shutout in the net for the Millard Eagles.
MOAB, Utah-Mia McKay and Hannah Fisher scored as the No. 8 Grand Red Devils doubled up No. 9 Draper APA 2-1 Wednesday in the first round of the 2A girls soccer state playoffs. Makenzy Lockwood scored in the loss for the Eagles. The Red Devils next face No.1 Parowan Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
