Region 12
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Cole Cook led the way with 20 points and 8 rebounds on 9-14 from the field as the North Sanpete Hawks got past Juab 63-58 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. The Hawks shot 51 percent (25-49) from the field on the night in improving to 6-5 and 2-1 in Region 12 play. Braxton Hooper netted 17 points and 7 rebounds on 7-8 from the field in the loss for the Wasps. Juab fell to 8-3 and 1-2 in Region 12 play in defeat.
PRICE, Utah-Zeke Willson netted 18 points and the Carbon Dinos downed Delta 57-51 Wednesday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Cai Henderson led the Rabbits with 16 points in the loss.
MANTI, Utah-Reggie Frischknecht led the way with 21 points and the Manti Templars edged Canyon View 69-66 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. Ty Attig’s game-high 22 points led the Falcons in defeat.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Cort Moon posted 14 points and the Richfield Wildcats got past Emery 57-53 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. Luke Justice led the Spartans with 18 points in the loss.
Region 18
FILLMORE, Utah-Stockton Roberts stepped up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and the South Sevier Rams decimated Millard 70-28 Wednesday in Region 18 boys basketball play. Derk Memmott had 8 points in defeat for the Eagles.
KANAB, Utah-Kyle Brown netted 15 points and the Kanab Cowboys routed Parowan 64-45 in Region 18 boys basketball play Wednesday. Hunter Bettridge led the Rams in the loss with a game-high 17 points.
Region 20
BICKNELL, Utah-Kole Westwood led the way with 20 points and the Piute Thunderbirds smacked Wayne 61-44 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Jake Batty posted 13 points and 16 rebounds in the loss for the Badgers.
Non-Region
MILFORD, Utah-Sadler Barnes posted 27 points and 6 rebounds and the Milford Tigers routed White Pine (Nev.) 64-35 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play.
BEAVER DAM, Ariz.-Burkley Dalton netted 9 points and the Panguitch Bobcats clobbered Beaver Dam (Ariz.) 59-26 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday.
Girls Basketball
Region 20
TROPIC, Utah-Grace Leec led the way with 19 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs edged Wayne 41-40 in Region 20 girls basketball play Wednesday. Savannah Williams had 11 points for the Badgers in defeat.
Non-Region
BEAVER DAM, Ariz.-Tayt Miller led the way with 14 points and the Panguitch Bobcats pounded Beaver Dam (Ariz.) 52-17 Wednesday in non-region girls basketball play.
MILFORD, Utah-Tayleah Spaulding posted 24 points and the Milford Tigers downed White Pine (Nev.) 40-24 in non-region girls basketball play Wednesday.
GUNNISON, Utah-Kaidence Anderson stepped up with 11 points and the Providence Hall Patriots edged Gunnison Valley 32-29 Wednesday in non-region girls basketball play. Rylee Bartholomew’s game-high 21 points led the Bulldogs in the loss.
