Region 12
DELTA, Utah-Austin Park posted 25 points and the Juab Wasps dismantled Delta 68-49 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play at the Palladium. Juab wrested complete control of the game by outscoring the Rabbits 21-3 in the crucial 2nd Quarter. Mason Robinson’s 14 points led the Rabbits in the loss. Juab improved to 11-2 and 4-0 in Region 12 play while Delta slumped to 8-4 and 1-3 in Region 12 competition.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Griffin Wayman netted 15 points and the Richfield Wildcats waxed North Sanpete 48-43 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Ridge Hendry led the Hawks in the loss with a game-high 21 points.
MANTI, Utah-Lincoln Alder recorded 22 points and the Manti Templars drilled Carbon 78-60 in Region 12 boys basketball play Friday. Ty Mortensen led the Dinos in the loss with 19 points.
Region 15
MOAB, Utah-JT Dowd posted 20 points and the Grand Red Devils edged Gunnison Valley 58-56 Friday in Region 15 boys basketball play. Braxton Pickett’s game-high 23 points led the Bulldogs in the loss.
BLANDING, Utah-Baylor Nielson led the way with 14 points and the San Juan Broncos waxed North Sevier 68-58 in Region 15 boys basketball play Friday. Brody Bulloch led the Wolves in the loss with 17 points.
Region 18
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Stockton Roberts netted 20 points and 5 rebounds and the South Sevier Rams edged Enterprise 59-55 Friday in Region 18 boys basketball play. Colten Seegmiller led the Wolves with 16 points in defeat.
KANAB, Utah-Kyle Brown amassed 24 points and the Kanab Cowboys crushed Beaver 72-43 in Region 18 boys basketball play Friday. Deegan Blackner led the Beavers with 17 points in the loss.
Non-Region
HERRIMAN, Utah-Hunter Robins netted 16 points and 5 rebounds and the Wayne Badgers surged past Providence Hall 51-41 Friday in non-region boys basketball play.
MILFORD, Utah-Sadler Barnes posted 21 points and 8 steals and the Milford Tigers edged Maeser Prep 51-49 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Jayden Aguilar’s 17 points led the Lions in defeat.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Boede Cox led the way with 15 points and the Valley Buffalos overpowered El Capitan (Ariz.) 56-40 Friday in non-region boys basketball play.
TABIONA, Utah-Gavin Rhoades posted 21 points and the Tabiona Tigers dismantled Bryce Valley 70-54 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Zaren Roberts led the Mustangs with 19 points in the loss.
Girls Basketball
Region 15
SALINA, Utah-Alyssa Rosquist netted 16 points and the North Sevier Wolves blasted San Juan 64-43 Friday in Region 15 girls basketball play. Hayden Shumway led the Broncos in the loss with 13 points.
GUNNISON, Utah-Ainsleigh Kasprick posted 17 points and the Grand Red Devils downed Gunnison Valley 54-49 in Region 15 girls basketball play Friday. Rylee Bartholomew led the Bulldogs in the loss with 15 points.
Region 18
MONROE, Utah-Sydnee Patterson and Kinley Jenson had 15 points apiece and the South Sevier Rams routed Enterprise 60-32 in Region 18 girls basketball play Friday. Jaycee Barlow led the Wolves in the loss with 11 points.
Non-Region
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Reese Gustin led the way with 14 points and the Pine View Panthers got past Juab 43-38 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Maggie Rosenbeck’s game-high 17 points led the Wasps in the loss.
OLJATO-MONUMENT VALLEY, Utah-The Valley Buffalos stonewalled Monument Valley 80-63 Friday in non-region girls basketball play.
TABIONA, Utah-The Tabiona Tigers crushed Bryce Valley 50-30 in non-region girls basketball play Friday.
BICKNELL, Utah-AJ VanDyke recorded 28 points and 9 rebounds on 11-19 from the field and the Wayne Badgers pounded Altamont 62-23 Friday in non-region girls basketball play.
ESCALANTE, Utah-Amre Jenkins stepped up with 10 points and the Escalante Moquis smacked Rockwell 40-18 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Cassidy Jessop’s game-high 12 points led the Marshals in the loss.
