EPHRAIM, Utah-Targhee Lambson ran for 188 yards on 11 carries and three scores and the No. 1 Snow College Badgers pounded McDougle Tech (Fla.) 84-7 Saturday evening at Robert Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium.
The Badgers built a 56-7 lead as signal-caller Tommy McGrath completed 5 of 10 passes for 84 yards and four scores.
McGrath spread the ball around, as Elijah Erving, Marquis Montgomery, Taylor Larsen and Tevita Noa all hauled in scoring receptions.
Nu’u Brown returned a fumble 38 yards for a score as the first half concluded, giving Snow their 56-7 advantage.
Snow outgained the Bison 483-86 but also incurred 14 penalties for 141 yards. Snow coaches have confirmed this is something they must clean up as the season progresses.
Mario Bynes Jr. ( 2 rec, 80 yards, TD) caught a 42-yard scoring reception for the only touchdown the Badgers have surrendered all season to pace the Bison.
Snow is outscoring opponents 232-7 on the season thus far.
The Badgers will face the Community Christian Saints Saturday at 7:00 pm for Homecoming.
