RICHFIELD, Utah-Ayden Rose drove in a run and the Providence Hall Patriots downed Richfield 4-2 in the first game of a Region 14 baseball doubleheader Wednesday. Andrew Taylor netted seven strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Patriots. Austin Morgan drove in a run in the loss for the Wildcats.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Andrew Taylor drove in three runs and the Providence Hall Patriots completed a Region 14 baseball doubleheader sweep of the Wildcats with an 8-5 win over the Wildcats Wednesday. Vincent Dutton netted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Patriots. Porter Brown drove in three runs in the loss for the Wildcats.

BEAVER, Utah-Jerzee Beaumont drove in four runs and the Beaver Beavers downed Lincoln County (Nev.) 11-8 in non-region softball play Wednesday. Lexi Hafen posted a strikeout in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Beavers. Bentley Barnes, Brylie Somers and Gabriella Holt drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Lynx.

MANTI, Utah-Chase Rosen, Yarell Loya Dominguez and Christian Rico each scored and the Summit Academy Bears edged Manti 3-2 in non-region boys soccer play Wednesday.
