SALT LAKE CITY-Webster Rivas drove in a pair of runs and the El Paso Chihuahuas downed Salt Lake 6-4 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Pedro Avila posted two strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work to earn the win for El Paso as he improved to 1-2 on the season.

Dillon Thomas had a 2-RBI double in defeat for the Bees as they fell to 28-24 with the loss. El Paso improved to 29-23 on the season with the win.

The Bees and Chihuahuas continue their series Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
