PHOENIX-Saturday, Dixie State women’s swimming competed at Grand Canyon, falling 145-110 to the Antelopes.
Sophomore Drew Roper, a former Millard High School star, competed for the Trailblazers during this meet.
In the women’s 100-yard backstroke, Roper placed fourth in a time of 1:00.48.
She later placed eighth in the women’s 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 25.28.
In the women’s 200-yard backstroke, Roper finished fourth, netting a time of 2:13.54.
Roper concluded her participation at the meet by swimming the third leg of the women’s 200-yard freestyle relay, posting a time of 1:41.03 (25.12). She was joined by teammates, freshman Skyler Lyon, junior Kenzie Chesler and senior Megan Ruppenthal.
