SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday at Behnken Field House, the Dixie State Trailblazers bested Alaska-Fairbanks 90-78 as they improved to 5-0 in non-conference men’s basketball action.

Dason Youngblood posted 27 points on 12-17 shooting for the Trailblazers in the win.

Shadeed Shabazz had 28 points on 9-18 shooting and 8-8 on free throws for the Nanooks in defeat as they fell to 1-5.

The Trailblazers are next in action Saturday at 7:30 pm against Westminster in the Rocky Mountain Athletic conference opener for both squads.
