Sunday, BYU and Utah State men’s basketball earned respective bids to the NIT Tournament.
This tournament traditionally selects schools who did not qualify for the NCAA Tournament but still had relatively successful seasons.
Tuesday, the No. 4 seed Aggies will host No. 5 seed Oregon at the Spectrum in Logan.
The Ducks lead the all-time series against Utah State 3-2, which dates back to 1949.
Wednesday, the No. 2 seed Cougars will host Big West Conference Tournament runner-up, No. 7 seed Long Beach State at the Marriott Center.
The Cougars and 49ers have met 11 times on the hardwood previously with BYU leading the all-time series 6-5. This series dates back to the 1971-72 season.
