AUGUSTA, Ga.-Monday, The Augusta Sports Council and the Ray Guy Award announced BYU freshman punter Hunter Rehkow had been named one of Ray’s 8 for Week 5 of the college football season.

Honorees for this weekly distinction become eligible to become the Ray Guy Punter of the Week.

Rehkow currently ranks fourth nationally in punting average at 50.6 yards per boot.

In the No. 10 Cougars’ 34-20 win over Utah State Friday, Rehkow averaged 46.8 yards per punt against the Aggies.
