PROVO, Utah-Monday, BYU football confirmed the Cougars will wear throwback uniforms from 1996 against Kansas State September 21 at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

The Cougars will be wearing white uniforms for this evening despite being the home team and BYU fans are asked to wear white for the occasion as well.

The Cougars and Wildcats are tied 4-4 all-time on the gridiron with the series dating back to 1957.

BYU will also honor the 1996 Cotton Bowl champions this evening, which defeated Kansas State 19-15.
