SALT LAKE CITY-Jake Gatewood homered and added RBI on a triple and a double as the Salt Lake Bees downed Tacoma 9-3 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.

Adam Seminaris earned the win on the mound for Salt Lake by posting three strikeouts in five innings of work. Seminaris improved to 1-3 on the season for the Bees.

Taylor Trammell homered in the loss for the Rainiers.

Salt Lake improved to 56-63 on the season while Tacoma fell to 54-65.

The Bees and Rainiers return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
