SALT LAKE CITY-Dillon Thomas and Jake Gatewood homered and the Salt Lake Bees got past Oklahoma City 8-7 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.

Zack Weiss earned the win on the mound for the Bees by netting two strikeouts in 1.2 innings of play.

Michael Busch and Ryan Noda homered in the loss for the Dodgers.

The Bees improved to 49-53 on the season as Oklahoma City fell to 61-41.

The Bees and Dodgers return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark to resume the series.
