YUMA, Ariz.-Evan Butts posted 19 points and the Arizona Western Matadors upset No. 11 Snow 70-66 Friday at the Chapman Automotive Thanksgiving Basketball Classic.

Clayton Southwick’s 21 points led the No. 11 Badgers in defeat.

In victory, the Matadors improve to 8-0 while Snow falls to 7-1.

Snow returns to action Saturday at the Chapman Automotive Thanksgiving Basketball Classic by facing the Yavapai (Ariz.) Roughriders at 1:30 pm.
