WEST JORDAN, Utah-Wednesday, the 3-A girls state golf tournament commenced at Mountain View Golf Course.

After the first day of play, Richfield is in first place with an aggregate score of 331. Morgan is second with a score of 342. Judge is in third with a score of 358. Union is in fourth with a score of 373.

Juab is in fifth place with a score of 402. Manti is in sixth with a score of 411. Emery is in seventh with a score of 415. Delta is in eighth with a score of 420 and Grantsville is ninth with a score of 425. These are the schools who evaded the cut on the first day.

Those who failed to advance to the second day of competition include North Sanpete (score of 429), Grand (a score of 450), Providence Hall (a score of 459), South Sevier (a score of 480) and South Summit (a score of 502).
