On July 11, the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity awarded Wolverine Fuels, LLC a post performance tax reduction for its expansion in Emery County. As part of the agreement, Wolverine Fuels projects adding more than 340 new, high-paying jobs in rural Utah during the next five years. Ryan Starks, executive director of the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity stated, “the company’s commitment to safety, sustainability and community aligns well with the state’s supportive regulatory environment and skilled workforce. We’re especially pleased to see companies like Wolverine Fuels stimulating rural Utah’s economy.”
