(Mount Pleasant, UT) — A student at a private school in Utah is being monitored for coronavirus after returning from China with a mild fever. Officials at Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant say the student arrived from Beijing on Tuesday with flu-like symptoms and was taken to Intermountain Medical Center to be tested. The student is not currently on campus and the Utah Department of Health has been notified about the situation. The state health department said yesterday that they have investigated many possible cases of coronavirus in Utah but have yet to find anyone who has tested positive for the strain that has sickened and killed at least a thousand people in China.
