On October 10th, Millard County deputies received information of a possible verbal threat made at Delta High School. In a post to their Facebook page the Sheriff’s Office stated, “a prompt response was made to the High School and an investigation is being conducted. At this time there is no information to substantiate that any threats were made. The investigation is ongoing and we are grateful for all who are cooperating with our mission to keep our schools safe.” Police and school authorities have determined that it is safe to continue school operations. The investigation is still ongoing and we will update this story with more information as it becomes available.
