(Orem, UT) — Utah Valley University is putting up a new engineering and technology building to keep up with rapid growth. UVU broke ground for the 88-million-dollar Scott M. Smith College of Engineering and Technology Building on Thursday. Qualtric so-founder Scott Smith and his wife Karen Smith donated 25-million dollars to help fund construction. UVU led the state in total increase in engineering majors between 2018 and 2020.
