(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Republican Party is trying to convince the party to hold its 2024 Republican National Convention in the state. Chairman Carson Jorgensen says they showed the site selection committee all over Salt Lake City last week, and says they were struck by how conducive the city is to holding a convention. He adds the venues are close together and says the national committee likes that Utah leads the nation in volunteerism.
