(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah lawmakers are reacting to Russia’s military action against Ukraine. Utah Republican Senator Mitt Romney called the move by Russian President Vladimir Putin “without honor,” adding that a tyrant’s appetite for conquest is never satisfied. Romney also criticized previous U.S. presidents for failing to react to past Russian aggression, calling American foreign policy “shortsighted.” Utah Governor Spencer Cox tweeted last night that there is evil in the world before saying that he was praying for the safety of those in Ukraine.
