Utah Board of Higher Education appoints Stacee McIff as interim president of Snow College

The Utah Board of Higher Education named Stacee McIff as interim president of Snow College, to take effect on July 1. McIff has served as vice president for technical education and workforce development at the college since 2021 and will lead Snow College during the Utah Board of Higher Education’s search for its next president.

McIff stated “I am honored to fill the role of interim president and will work with our leadership team and stakeholders to fulfill our mission. Snow College’s award-winning success rate, commitment to quality, affordability, and excellent faculty and staff make it a special place beloved by thousands of students and alumni. With a dual role as the degree-granting institution and technical college for central Utah, Snow College plays a vital role in educating students, working with industry, partnering with community leaders, and providing opportunities for citizens in the region. I appreciate Commissioner Woolstenhulme and Utah Board of Higher Education members for their confidence and leadership during this transition.”

Current Snow College President Bradley J. Cook announced in May that he had accepted the position of president at the American University of Bahrain and would step down as president of Snow. It is anticipated that a new president will be in place by the Spring of 2023, but the Board said they will take the necessary time to find the most qualified candidate.
