University Of Utah To Update Climate Action Plan

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The University of Utah will update its climate action plan with a new date for reaching net-zero in on-campus greenhouse gas emissions. The university’s president announced yesterday that the school will update its Climate Action Plan with help from students. The goal is to gather ideas that will let the university reach net-zero in emissions a decade earlier than originally planned. The university’s new target is 2040. The university will also hold a series of roundtable discussions on the plan in October and November.
