(Salt Lake City, UT) — Initial filings for unemployment are on the rise across Utah. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says that for the week ending November 16th, more than 19-hundred new filings for unemployment were submitted. That number is up from just over 13-hundred the week prior. Nationally, unemployment claims dropped for the week.
