(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Highway Patrol is reminding drivers that they need to slow down during wet and windy weather. The highway patrol announced yesterday that troopers had responded to 118 crashes statewide in 24 hours. Rain, wind and snow were factors in all of the crashes. The UHP says drivers need to give extra space to vehicles around them, take extra time while on the road and, if possible, stay home when the weather makes driving dangerous.
