(Salt Lake City, UT) — Inclement weather from remnants of Tropical Storm Hilary brought marginal impacts to parts of Utah yesterday. Thankfully, the worst of the weather stayed west of the state, with only scattered showers and storms moving through the area. Still, the National Weather Service issued flash flood watches and wind advisories out of precaution. As the tropical system moves away, additional rain is expected to impact Utah this week due to another surge of monsoonal moisture.
