(Zion National Park, UT) — The latest storms hammering southwestern Utah this week have done a lot of damage to roads in Zion National Park, forcing some roads to close. The park was still open Thursday, but the northern Kolob Canyons section was closed to most activities. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive was down to one lane where crews are working to clear rockfalls from earlier this week. Meanwhile, utility crews were working to repair buried electrical lines.
